Residents are advised that April utility bills were delayed being mailed out due to the ongoing meter conversion process. We understand bills are typically mailed out in advance of the first of the month and appreciate your patience during this transition.
You can currently view your bill amount online at cityofbrooklet.org or via our automated phone system at (912) 549-8788 before you receive your paper bill in the mail. This is the fastest way to access your balance while mailing is delayed. Again, thank you for your understanding and patience in this matter. As always monthly utility bills are due on the 20th of each month to avoid late penalties or disconnection of services.
Should you have any questions please call City Hall during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm closed daily for lunch from 1pm-2pm at (912) 842-2137.

Trash collection runs early Monday and Tuesday mornings. Our sanitation truck uses a mechanical arm, which requires cart lids to close completely.
If your trash cart is overfilled and the lid does not sit flush, it will NOT be picked up. Overfilled carts can cause trash to spill into streets and neighborhoods, which has become an ongoing issue.
To avoid service interruptions, please consider these options:
- Add a second cart to your monthly bill - call City Hall for details at 912-842-2137
- Request a temporary extra cart for large amounts of trash when having special events, clean outs, etc) for a one-time fee of $10
Thank you for helping keep Brooklet clean and safe!
