Georgia Power has announced planned upgrades to power poles and electrical lines within the city of Brooklet over the next few weeks. These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure, enhance reliability, and reduce the risk of outages.
Residents may notice work crews operating in neighborhoods, along roadways, and near existing utility lines. Some brief interruptions to service could occur as crews safely complete the upgrades, though every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience.

Properties in the areas of West Lane Street, College Street, & Lewis Street may experience a water outage for 35-45 minutes to allow for a water meter repair.

City of Brooklet Alert: Utility bills must be paid by Friday, March 20, 2026, by 5:00 PM (close of business) to avoid a $20.00 penalty.
Please note: Due to billing system maintenance, the online payment portal will be unavailable starting at 5:01 PM on March 20, 2026.
Alternative payment options:
- Pay in person at City Hall by 4:45PM
- Use the drop box in the City Hall parking lot by 4:00 PM on or before March 20 to ensure same-day processing
