CITY OF BROOKLET ALERT:
On Wednesday, March 25th starting around 12:00 PM, crews will be working on driveways for residents who were connected to the new water main on Hwy 80. If your driveway was impacted, it will be dug out and traffic cones will be placed.
On Thursday, March 26th starting at 8:00AM, crews will begin pouring concrete. If cones are present, the concrete is wet- please do not move cones or drive over the area.
Concrete will require approximately 12-24 hours to cure. Crews will remove cones once it is safe to resume use.

Residents on the Southwest right-of-way where the new water main has been installed down Hwy 80:
Beginning Tuesday, March 24th at 8:00AM, crews will begin tying meters into the new water line. You may experience temporary water loss (approximately 20-30 minutes or less) when work reaches your area.

Georgia Power has announced planned upgrades to power poles and electrical lines within the city of Brooklet over the next few weeks. These improvements are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen infrastructure, enhance reliability, and reduce the risk of outages.
Residents may notice work crews operating in neighborhoods, along roadways, and near existing utility lines. Some brief interruptions to service could occur as crews safely complete the upgrades, though every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience.
